Practical Work Days for Volunteers

Practical Work Days for Volunteers

The usual suspects: Pete, Ange, John, Paulina, Gerry, Edwin, Steve, Brian and Brandon (Cynthia was taking the picture!)

Regular monthly practical work days take place either at the Haw Park Wood or around Anglers Country Park and are scheduled for the 3rd. Wednesday of the month, (December is the usually the only month this activity doesn’t take place, but please refer to the programme of events). Activities involve helping the local rangers with essential work in the woods and around the lake, such as clearing unwanted Himalayan Balsam, repairing benches, litter-picking and clearing trails (all tools and equipment are provided). Practical Work Days usually start at 10am and last about 2 hours.
